SHIP'S LOG OF District 25 of the United States Power Squadrons

Here's a brief boating CV:  I am Past Commander of Carquinez S&P Squadron; P/Lt/C of Marin S&P Squadron.  My grade is P, although one of these days I WILL finish AP. 

My husband, Mike, JN, and I will have been married 18 years in December, 2008.  He has been both Admin and Exec of Marin Squadron. Our first date, two days after we met, was to go sailing, so you can imagine that each of us felt we had hit the jackpot.  It was with his encouaragement and support that I joined USPS.  Both of us are Senior Members.

We are currently members of Carquinez.  We live on a 43' houseboat (Andante) at the Vallejo Municipal Marina, and keep a C&C 40 (K. 361) in the slip next to us.  We also have a Finn and a dinghy.  As you can see, we like boating!

I teach in our BoatSmart program, and also present some of the USPS seminars to interested audiences.  I am also a member of Women Aboard, another fine boating association.

Mike and I are members of Vallejo YC and Glen Cove YC.
